#32: Nancy Stewart’s small claim against Chris Amaral

Defendant Name: Chris Amaral
The defendant owes $2000 plus $100 court costs for the following reasons:
I hired Mr. Amaral this past March to build out an addition to my home. A down payment was made for materials. To this date, no construction has occurred to my home. When I tried to contact Mr. Amaral about a start date, he either asked if he could call me back (which he never did) or didn’t answer his phone. Early last month I found out that Mr. Amaral had been using the materials I had paid for to make repairs to his own home. There is also indication that he has been doing the same thing with his other clients.
